We are excited to bring you radiant, more beautiful skin with the bt-Accent LED™ and the power of light therapy.
LED therapy works to firm, tighten and rejuvenate the skin by actively promoting the production of collagen.
How it Works
LED is a Light Emitting Diode which works at various colours or wavelengths. When specific wavelengths of light energy enters the skin, it travels via neurological pathways to specific cells in the skin to improve cellular performance.
RED LIGHT: Used to accelerate healing, reduce redness after treatment and encourages collagen production & cellular repair.
BLUE LIGHT: Designed to target acne-causing bacteria to reduces active acne, skin inflammation and future breakouts.
The treatment is non-invasive, painless, requires no recovery time, & can be used on all skin types.
Stimulates the body’s own cellular functions and cell renewal via photo modulation.
Promotes collagen and elastin production & assists in repairing sun damage
Reduces skin inflammation
Helps to re-hydrate skin, reduce enlarged pores and rejuvenate the skin
Kills acne causing bacteria, prevents acne from developing & helps eliminate active acne
Accelerates wound & skin healing after IPL treatments, surgery and other skin treatments
Can be used alone or in conjunction with other treatments to enhance results.
Can be used to treat face, neck, décolletage and body areas.
Non invasive with no recovery time needed
Treatment process & preparation
LED treatments include a cleanse, tone and application of an accelerate concentrate and/or crème and/or masque to effectively target your specific skin concerns. This is then followed by the LED treatment.
Heavy make up should be avoided on the day of treatment or removed prior to treatment.
Avoid photo-sensitising or photo-toxic medication.
While no specific aftercare is needed post an LED Light Therapy session, basic skin care is required as with all other treatments. Always remember to apply an SPF 30+ sunscreen (such as 'SHADE') every day to protect your skin from the sun to avoid further trauma to the skin.
If you have used LED Light Therapy in conjunction with other treatments, always remember to follow the aftercare of the treatment provided.
