How it Works

A Microcurrent facial is a safe, painless and non-invasive cosmetic treatment that harnesses the body’s electrical currents to re-educate, lift, firm and tone the muscles of the face, neck, jowls and body.

Treatments involve the safe and painless transmission of a low level electric impulse to specific locations below the skins surface to turn back the clock on ageing and leave you glowing with firmer, younger looking skin.

During a microcurrent facial, at least 32 facial muscles are stimulated to simultaneously increase our body’s natural collagen and ATP production.

What are the benefits of the Microcurrent?

  • Re-sculpt and re-educate the muscle tissue thus visibly firming and lifting the facial muscles.

  • Significant reduction in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Stimulates and speeds up the rate at which the body produces its muscle protein, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), to reduce the aging effects to muscle tissue and reduce muscle atrophy.

  • Infuses active ingredients for increased skin hydration.

  • Increased production of connective tissue (collagen and elastin) increasing the support framework of the skin.

  • Promotes smoother and softer skin.

  • Results are visible from the first treatment.

Treatment process & preparation

Microcurrent treatments include a cleanse, tone and application of an accelerate concentrate and/or crème to effectively target your specific skin concerns.  This is then followed by the microcurrent treatment.

Heavy make up should be avoided on the day of treatment or removed prior to treatment.

It is important to make your clinician aware if any of these occur:

Persistent skin redness, irritation or bruising

Allergic reactions
